I'm' looking to pick up a foam cannon for my pressure washer. It's a Dewalt 3100DPD gas unit that produces 3100 PSI and uses 2.8 gallons/min. My question is in 2 parts...

first, what kind of quick connect should I order with the cannon? the closest one I can see on the ordering page where you choose your QC is the kranzie fitting, and that's only because it looks like the screw fitting on the end of my lance extension. Every other fitting on the unit is NPT but I don't see that as an option on the ordering page. I have extra NPT fittings so should I just use my own? Here are pics of the quick connect and lance on my unit:

my second question is which foam cannon has everyone had the best luck with? the one sold on AG is made of brass but only has a max pressure of 2600 PSI. I suppose I could bring the rpm's down on the PW to accommodate that. The cam spray unit, on the other hand can handle 3000 PSI which almost matches my washer. Big problem with the cam spray is finding one in stock.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
thanks in advance.

Note the quck disconnect female on the gun, and the male adapter on the foam cannon. The middle is just hte green attachment tip.

Thanks,

not sure I follow....am I supposed to attach the foam cannon to the end of the extension wand (NPT fitting) or directly to the gun (looks like Kranzie fitting) without the extension wand?

Search something called a "Foam Lance" It's on eb@y for half the price...

your picture didn't show the first time I read your message. I know what the foam lance/cannon is, I'm just trying to figure out the quick-connect type. looks like the one in your pic is an NPT fitting so I'll assume that'll work for my application.
thanks

It will work either way. Usng the Kranzle adapter (M22) will fit the foam gun right to the PW gun. Easier to use.

perfect.....just as I suspected. Thanks!! I'll probably just get another gun and screw the foamer into that.

now that this mystery is solved.....what foam cannon is everyone having the best luck with?

nice one...I like the pressure rating on that one as well but unfortunately for me, nobody in Canada seems to carry them and that seller won't ship to Canada. You state-side people get all the cool stuff!!!

the search continues........
