Hello Once Again,

Here is another one of my lil project vehicles. This one belongs to the same person with the '89 Jaguar XJS Convertable, 1992 BMW 850I, 2008 Mercedes Benz GL550 and SOLD the 2005 Mercedes Benz S55 AMG. I will miss that one. Anyways.....

This is the 3rd vehicle he is wanting to sell. This one should not be too hard to take care of. I have a new windshield coming out tomorrow to replace the damaged one. I also have a new tire for the Passenger Rear Side since it could go bad at any given time. No one knew about it time I started looking things over. I will have this completed by Friday. The engine will be done 1st thing in the morning. Exterior will be washed, and clayed, after that. I will not do anything else with it till the new windshield is placed onto the vehicle.

Well, I know his wife had been in the vehicle. She left her wonderful lotion on the red leather seats/doors.

The Roof looks okay. Just needs to be clayed and polished.

I will wet-sand those down a little

Discount tire has messed up all 4 of these rims.

He won't. I have been able to make him spend a good amount of money on the Jag, BMW and NOW, the Lexus. He thinks people do not look at things on vehicles. right.....

Well, here are some after pics. Engine, exhaust tips and problemed rims. Since I have to wait for the window people to come, I thought I would add some pics.

To repair each of the rims, they charge $350/per and 4 to 6 weeks. I do not think my client will do that. I'm checking on prices for NEW RIMS.

Have any of you ever detailed a vehicle with red leather interior?

On the red leather inside the Lexus SC 430, The only thing I will do on ANYTHING RED is use just use the steamer. Even on the door panels and everything red. I know red is an easy color to fade quickly. I also know that using the steamer, it will not clean the leather seats correctly.

Just wanted to see what YOU would do. Feed back please

Yes I used Wolfgang Leather Cleaner and Conditioner....It came out great

Well, go figure. I did not get a chance to complete the Lexus today. I ran into a "little bit" of a problem. My Flex XC 3401 VRG 6 inch Backing Plate decided to break on me when I was using it. SOooooooo.... I do not have a spare one. I will have to find my PC and use it tomorrow.

Oh, btw, I decided to wet-sand the Lexus today to dispose most all the scratches on the vehicle. I was about a 1/4 of the way done using the Flex when the issue happened. ugh..... car is now sitting under the canopy outside and I will work on it very early Saturday morning. This must be a bad week for me or something.

It is plastic. I need to get a extra BP just in case. I also have my PC handy too. Sorry about the timing of it. It always happens at the worst time.
