Well, this weekend I started to detail a few cars. I still have 4 other cars/trucks I need to finish this week as well, and they are in pretty bad shape. What a time to start! Well the Xterra is done, but it is in storage now because it is up for sale. I need to get pics of that. It just came from a cross country trip, and had been sitting in New York for 4 months before that. It was really dirty. It's silver though, so it's not as noticeable.

The 350Z(02') is my best friend's car, and I have been deatiling it for a while so, it wasn't in bad shape. Need to go touch up some stuff, so I should have pics of that later. His headlights had noticeable buildup up so I cleaned them up for him as well. This is an old pic, as he has a different front bumper and hood now, but you get the idea. It is usually clean.

Now the TL(05' I think), OMG (^ his wife's car). This car was bad. Worst I have ever seen. I started doing these cars at 6pm, and ended at 4am because the TL kicked my ass through the night. I need to go finish the back half of it tonight. On to the couple of pics I did take before/during. Will update when I get the cars finished completely though.

On the TL I used SSR 2.5 with orange CCS pad, then SSR1 with white pad. I tried some XMT finishing glaze, but I didn't notice much of a difference. Then I topped it all with the Pinnacle Sig SeriesII wax.

I really think I needed SSR3 for this car, or some heavy compound or something. I got most of the scractches out, but there are some small ones that will drive me insanse if I keep trying to chase them.

The Z was just a wash, and quick wax with Liquid Souveran as I just did the car last week completely.

The Xterra was a wash, and interior cleaning. Also used Megs Silicone Free Dressing on most of the plastic pieces (which is about half the car haha), and it made a nice difference. I am going to try some other stuff I saw reccomended on here last week as well. I only used SSR1, and then topped it with some Klasse Sealant.

Looking good!! can't wait for the finals. Love the soft focus color / b&W only on the 350 pic, nice touch!

Thanks! I wish I got some pics of the Xterra before we stored the thing. I might not be able to get any of it anytime soon. The TL I will surely get some daytime pics!

I used to take a lot of pics of people's cars for them and scenery type stuff, until I decided I wanted a new camera. Now I probably won't use it much until I get the new one, lol (olympus E-510).

jeeeeeezzz...who used scotchgaurd on that car...that was crazy....nice job cleanin it up tho :)

Very nice, looking forward to the rest.

Thanks for sharing.

My bad SPiN, it's not my car so I didn't remember the exact year off the top of my head. So it is an 03'! ;)

And of course I have pics of my girly blue car Mike. They are all older so you've prob seen them already. ;) Car is going through a super rebuild, but I need a few more parts to finish this thing! I'm relocating everything, and I have to paint/clear the engine bay next. PITA! Plus about 100 other things. :)

I am going to try and head over to where the TL is tomorrow, I need to get this car done! I almost don't want to do it cause she always parks outside/ won't even try to keep it clean, and I will prob have to do this car weekly to make sure it stays in ok shape. As long as I get paid, I don't mind though. :)

Ok, so the weather cleared a little, but still didn't let me get any good daytime pics. I went and redid the entire car, and man did it suck. There is a spor on the passenger side that I dot't know what the hell it is but I need to see how I can get it out of the paint. This car was in really bad shape. It's been raining here so for new daytime pics I will have to basically do a short detail on the car again. It looks much better even dirty than it did before though.

you can see the spot in this pic. It looked like something ran down the paint, but dried on. I dunno if it's egg, or what, but it's going to take something tougher than SSR2.5 to remove.
