Private Message Notification?

Is e-mail notification and the pop-up window the default setting for PM notifications?
I receive mine with no problem, but either the people I am sending PMs aren't getting them or they don't want to talk to me.
Bunky and AeroCleanse are two at this time that I have either sent PMs or responded to their PM, but they are still shown as unread.

Maybe they just haven't noticed they have a PM. Should get a notice in their net email telling them they have a PM on AG.
