This little invention is a great idea for hitting your mixing ratios with thin viscosity fluids. No more spillage or the fluid sloshing out of the heavy 128 oz containers wasting product. Read the instructions and was ready to mix some Meguiars APC 1:4 strength. I Squeezed 3oz for the first half of the needed 6.4oz in a 32oz spray bottle. As I poured from the bottles tiny spout I thought yeah this is great! Sad to say my smile soon turned to an expression of displeasure as the fluid just kept pouring and pouring. I wanted this handy tool to work but sorry to report it did not. Must be an issue with the check valve leaking or getting stuck.

I had the same problem at first but what I have found was the tube has to be on the far side from the opening. Meaning the the tube in the bottle has to be out of the product when it is turned over. When I had a new full bottle I had the problem but once it was a little less full it worked great.

hmmm never had this issue on my gallon one. I'm sure AG will give you another. This is not how all of them work as mine works just fine :)

I took apart the Pro-Blend bottle hoping to find a stuck check valve. It doesn't have one or anyway to stop the backward fluid flow. It's a simple design with the green regulator plunger riding up and down the bottles guide. The plunger seals against the housing keeping the fluids from flowing back into the bottle. When you tilt to pour the liquid flows by the black flat threaded stem to the lids spout.

TonyK is right... the tube must be out of the fluid in the bottom of the gallon jug, then it works perfectly. Just turn the gallon 180 degrees before pouring.

Here Is a new video showing how I got the blend bottle to pour correctly.

On mine you don't have to do that so I think there is something wrong with yours.

What type of gallon bottle are you using and how full are they Roshan? I studied the design and there is nothing to stop the back flow, no check valve whatsoever. Could it possibly be your delivery tubes tip is not submerged as your pouring because of a different jug type? Let me know the next time you use it. The site that carries all the plastic bottles has these for $2.17 I'm going to place an order for some sprayers and pick up a few more of the blend bottles just to test.

thanks for your input :xyxthumbs:

Well I didn't study the design so I would say you probably know more about the thing than I do.

But what I can tell you from my experience is that I used it on a full gallon of Megs APC and I didn't do the liquid on one side trick and never got continuous flow.

I've also used the 64 oz bottle on a full 64 oz blackfire microfiber cleaner since day one and I can't even see which side the liquid is on and never had an issue so I'm honestly just thinking you have a defective one.

Or maybe I just got lucky and got ones that work? I don't know :dunno:

I have them on several gallon and quart bottles and have never experienced the 'free flow' of product beyond what was measured out.

cool so I'm not the only one. This gives credence to my idea that the OP just got a defective unit.

You're definitely not the only one, Roshan. I agree with you that the OP may have a defective one.

Thanks guys

I'm going to order a few more of these, with any luck maybe I'll get a good one.
