Hello!

I have a problem regarding my meguairs G220v2 it's the EU version of G110v2. Same machine diffrent voltage.

The machine will normally work fine at speed 1 and 6. But when I'm running at speed 3-4 it will start hunting the rpm after a while and never pick up stable speed agian. And somtimes it will just stall and you have to restart it.

My carbon brushes are perfectly fine and I have a replacement kit. The cord also seems to be in perfect shape.

Ther norwegian import company of meguiar's won't help me since I've lost my recipe and I can't find it.... In norway these machines cost 3200 NOK which is around 517 USD.

They can't even support me with replacement parts which is sad when you think about the cost.

Anyone els expperianced the same problem with their machine? I'm mayby thinking my speed controller is broken-

Regards Kristoffer

Sucks man.

My GG6 died on me last weekend, Griot's said I have a faulty switch.

Sorry to hear. Yeah, it does. I don't get why there aint any replacement parts for this? Most of it is very easy to change...

I'd pay for just the switch if Griot's would sell it to me but they won't.
I'm sure it would be cheaper than shipping fee.

Sure didn't last long, I was a Die-Hard Griot's fan and recommended it to so many people, now I just don't know what to think about it now.

But, when you send it back to Griots you'll most likely get a new unit rather than a repair.

On some of the original G110v2 models the power cord would go bad. It affected mine and I replaced the power cord.

Try setting yours at speed 3-4 and move the cord around and see if that changes anything.
