Hi, i am using a rotary, for paint correction. I had been using foam pads, but now has decided to try the wool pads. For the foam pads i used menzerna for most of my correction. Subconsiously, i think that menzerna would work fine with wool pads as well, but i do wanna make sure. I think i read somewhere that menzerna polishes are foam pad dependant. So if anyone could give me some great suggestions as what products work well wool pads, it would be greatly appreciated. This is the best Auto-detailing site by far....you guys are wonderful here!!!!!!

Asphalt-Rocket turned me onto the meguiars 105/wool combo.. Man, this stuff is just sweet. Short working time, its like where did the swirls go!?

I would say Meguiars 105 is awesome with the wool. With the wool, make sure you get some good solid wool pads.

Thanks ryandamartini, sweet deal, i was thinking something in the way of the mg line. Thanks again.

It does take some getting used to. The work time is longer than the old #105, but is still not too long! This seems to be a result in the technology the products use. Unlike most compounds, these do not use diminishing abrasives which shrink down to the point of when we see the polish broken down.

SO just be sure to do some test spots or abuse a test panel if you have one first :buffing:
