Introduction:
As you drive your vehicle down the road an accumulation of debris will collect on the bottom side of your vehicle whether it be dirt, sand, salt, etc. Over time this buildup of contamination will start to break down the materials underneath your vehicle and start to form rust if left alone.

The Chassis Cleaner is designed to reach the underside of vehicles and remove corrosive sediments deposited over time. Conclusion:
This unit works amazingly well and has enough power to effectively pressure wash off the excess buildup of debris from accumulation on the bottom side of your vehicle. The added foam nozzle attachment is a nice addition to the design allowing you to apply a protectant to the bottom of your vehicle. Never again will I merely accept tilting the spray wand at an angle underneath the vehicle to remove foreign accumulation.

Great review!

... I wonder if it's adaptable to the commercial electric Karcher Pressure Washers. I love my Karcher :)

Thanks for another awesome review, Mike!
You made me eager to buy one!
You're one of the best reviewers around here!

Mike, thanks for the detailed review. Looks like I will have to break down and get a Karcher pressure washer and the under body chassis cleaner. Would be a great option to offer my customers. What type of protectant have you been using?

Walter

Thank you for detailed review and honest opinion, this is exactly what I was looking for.

Nice work, indeed!

Kind Regards.

Thank you for the review. I have wondered how well this worked.

Yup. I want one! Thanks for the review Mike! How does the Karcher gun attach to the hose?

Do you worry about what ends up getting what when you get towards the underside of the engine bay?

Great review!

Thanks Ryan!

Hmmm. It uses their proprietary quick connect found on their Home/Garden models. You may have to see if you can get that special fitting.

Which commercial version do you have?

Thanks Walter. I have only used the sample chassis protectant offered in the kit. Will do some research and see what else I can use.

Thanks Ian!

Via the proprietary Kärcher quick disconnect coupler.

Do you worry about what ends up getting what when you get towards the underside of the engine bay?

Not at all.

I have the Karcher HD 3.0/20- 4M
One of the best investments I've ever made, right up there with my polishers and Mytee HP60

Right on! Having a pressure washer surely is one of the best investments in car detailing.

Could be the single best "tool" investment because it would be utilized at almost every detail job. Paired with the this underbody cleaner and you have a recipe for total exterior cleanliness.

Awesome review Mike. If I still lived in Syracuse, I would have ordered this based solely on your review.

Thank you good sir. Just wanted to share and get it out there.

Interesting. It sort of looks "cheap" as if the plastic won't hold up over time. It seems priced okay at around $99. Seems like it can be used with other pressure washers too per this online review:

"Without A Doubt The Best Underbody Device Ever Made!
Every aspect of design and quality of manufacture and materials is perfect. This can work with non-Karcher pressure washers with pressure ratings similar to the 3 nozzles provided. I think the Sun Joe SPX 3000 is the best available. Has many high quality, low priced adapters that connect Karcher bayonets to other connectors. They seem to be named "karcher k-series female". I got the M22M that fits my standard Sun Joe gun and added some Forney quick connects for convenience."

Seems like a decent service to be able to offer. Thanks for the review, Mike!

I would like to get this to compliment my SPX3000. Gotta find those adapters.

Curious what you could spray to act as a protectant/sealant for the under body? Hydro?

I can assure you that this will stand up to repeated use. Very solid built unit and well engineered.

I have now incorporated its use into my services as a stand alone detail. Thank you sir!

Will need an adaptor.

You could also just buy a Karcher and be done with it...

I too was thinking Hydro2 or Hydrofoam. Making a second pass to rinse off after application wont be a problem.
