PRODUCT REVIEW: Pinnacle Exhaust Cleaner & Brightener

DSC_0003_zpskxkoy6av.jpg

Introduction:
We all know that cleaning up the exhaust of a vehicle is dirty work and usually gets by without receiving attention. I know I am guilty of letting my tips get by without a bit of TLC because I labor enough over my black paint and cleaning my intricate wheel design. Another reason I let them get by dirty is the simple fact that a competitors product I have been using in the past takes more work to get off than it does to use it.

Product Description:
Pinnacle Exhaust Cleaner & Brightener is a thick cream that is formulated using an advanced blend of all-natural cleaners, diatomaceous clay, and a durable anti-corrosion agent that protects the surface against heat and soot build up. Imparts a protective coating that makes future cleaning much easier.

Unburned oil and gas causes a build up of black soot on the exhaust tip, creating an unsightly appearance that draws attention away from the paint you spent hours polishing. Remove exhaust soot and polish your tips to a mirror finish with Pinnacle Exhaust Cleaner & Brightener.

Directions:
Apply a small amount of polish with a foam exhaust polishing sponge. Use sparingly – a little goes a long way.
Rub in a circular motion until black residue appears. Buff to a mirror finish using a clean, dry, mf (black) towel.
Extremely dirty tips will require a second application.
Also works well on chrome bumpers, chrome trim, and chrome wheels.

I made reference to my BMW in the video but did not mention what it is. It is a 2007 335i sedan with sport package and 6 speed among other upgrades. In case anyone was interested.

Getting started with before pictures of dirty tips.

Conclusion:
I am extremely satisfied with this new product. Gone are the days of spending more time laboring over getting the product removed rather than using it. This new product offers great performance, user friendliness and ease of clean up all while giving off a pleasant fragrance. It’s so easy to use; you can combine it with your waterless or rinseless wash routine without necessitating extra supporting products.

Pinnacle Exhaust Cleaner & Brightener

Microfiber Wheel Detailing Towel, wheel buffing towel, all wheel towel, utility towel, shop towel

I highly recommend this product to replace the competitor’s product.

Best Regards,
Mike

Nice review Mike,

In the very tightest spots, I too use a towel. If the sponge doesn't fit, I'll try some steel wool first, then if my fingers don't fit I go for a towel.

We've already lamented a bit about the major competitor, but I think you describe it perfectly as 'chaulky' when it dries, whereas Pinnacle wipes off like a good wax or sealant.

Thanks for the great review Mike! I have been looking for a product like this. Looking forward to using it!

Great review, Mike. I don't know what I'm more amazed by:
  1. How easy Pinnacle EC&B is to use
  2. It's been a YEAR?? since you last cleaned your tips
  3. The beard! I didn't think those were allowed in the Air Force?

;)

Top job again mate .

How would you compare it to P21S mate . Looks similar at 1st glance .

Thanks for the review. I've been waffling back n forth on getting this because I already feel like my detailing collection is getting out of hand lol. But a positive review from you I can see changing my mind.

Excellent Review Mike! Definitely gonna pick some up once I'm out of Borla Exhaust cleaner :xyxthumbs:

The product beauty photos are outstanding! Nice review!

Thanks Bob.

I find using the mf towel the easiest simply because you already have it in hand for removal of product.

I didn't want to go overboard bashing the competitors product. Rather capture its negative attributes.

awesome review Mike! looks great:)

Thanks Kyle!

1. Very user friendly
2. Yes a year. Chalk that up to general laziness and lack of performance from the competitor. Not anymore.
3. Hahahaha. On a bit of vacation now.

Keep your eye's peeled. Going to do some traveling into the south of Germany.... Where is the headquarters of our beloved vehicle's...?

Thank you sir.

The only thing in comparison is the fact that they come in a white jar, have yellow sponges, and clean metal. Although formulated for the same job thats where the similarities end.

Thanks for the review. I've been waffling back n forth on getting this because I already feel like my detailing collection is getting out of hand lol. But a positive review from you I can see changing my mind.

No problem.

Trust me. This is a must needed item in your detailing arsenal.

Excellent Review Mike! Definitely gonna pick some up once I'm out of Borla Exhaust cleaner :xyxthumbs:

Thanks James!

You will love it!

Great review and pics Mike!

Thanks Marc!

Thank you Jaret!

Great review. Couldn't agree more with what you said about it. I have used it on my GTO stainless tips with great success.

Thanks Justin.

I love the ease of use of this product.

Ah München. Was there back in 2001. Great place. Lots of things to do. Toured the BMW Museum but didn't plan well enough in advance to score a factory tour. There's a GREAT view from a top the Olympic park space needle directly across the street.

If there's time, the Deutsches Museum is another very cool place to check out:
Enjoy the trip!!

Great review. After the reviews from Sizzle Chest and you I will put this on my next order.

Thank you for this reviewing streak you've been doing lately, very informative and full of wonderful pics, great to watch.

You haven't forgot any detail and the pleasant smell is something I truly like in a detailing product. In fact, we work the whole day around those products and a good smelling one always makes us happy, no?

Nice description, nice results, another for the wish list,

Best Wishes.

Thanks Raphael. On some vacation time so I have a bit of free time. Will be doing some traveling as well.

I always try to cover every aspect of a product. Not just its performance. It's nice to have a product that smells great to work with. Although I do love the smell of FG400.

Thanks again good sir.

Your really making it hard for me in getting this monkey off my back, 1st your review on BF new spray wax and now this :)

As always great work enjoy your time off. Wife's MB turned out great with Menerza products..

Great review! Nice to see it will work on chrome as well.
My mustang has Borla Cat-Back, with chrome borla tips.
Up until now, I wasn't sure what to use on them... so I just clean during the wash process and hit them with some Crystal Mist... But I have a ton of carbon build up...

Another in-depth review, my friend, informative, with a lot of pictures and a video, right on!
It seems that the metal polishing market niche is also coming to a new era, with newer products which are easier to remove, like the old sealants and the new sealants.
I use Autosol Metal Polish, an excellent product, but a PIA to remove it completely. So, PEC&B will be on my next AG list. Best regards

Thanks Paul!

This product has no problem cutting through carbon build up and will leave behind some protection.

Thanks Ronaldo! Hope you enjoyed.
It is nice to see other areas of car care coming into the modern world.
This will become your new go to metal polishing product.
