Plexus Plastic Cleaner, Protectant & Polish has been around for years. Originally developed for the aviation industry, Plexus found its way into the hands of consumers looking for a way to care for all types of plastics. Because we don't deal with clear plastics on a daily basis, I've gone years without purchasing the product.
Today a gentleman came in with a soft-top Jeep with plastic windows. This can was laying in his passenger seat and when I saw the name I instantly recognized it. I told him I would be glad to test it out on his plastic windows.
First thing I did was shine my FLEX Swirl Finder Light on the window to inspect the condition. They sure were swirled up and foggy.
After checking the condition I proceeded to tape off a section of the window. I cleaned the both the inside and outside of each section, Left side with Plexus and right side with my typical tint safe window cleaner.
Once I lifted the tape the difference was apparent. The product made for plastic clearly (no pun intended) improved the clarity of the plastic window leaving behind no streaks or fogginess while the glass cleaner simply took the dirt off leaving behind a foggy mess. From now on I will choose Plexus for all my plastic cleaning duties.
