So it's been ages since I've actually used a paste wax. For a long time I've been using p21s when I chose to use a wax. Latley I've been using sealants such as sonax net shield, menzerna PL, CG blacklight and jet seal. And the only other wax in my arsenal is CG lava.

My car was super clean as is. Recently hit it with d300 and CG v38. So today I did a quick menz sf4000 followed by car pro eraser and then a coat of Phoenix.

To start it goes on super thin. I applied it side to side on the car and then front to back. I didn't have too much guide on application because I was in the garage but I applied it to 3 panels and then wiped off with cobra gold mf towel.

Wipe off was mediocre difficulty I feel. Had to work a little harder than p21s but it was way more work to get a flawless finish than menz Pl. The wax seemed to leave a residue that took some elbow grease to remove. Doesn't make me not want to use it but it probably wouldn't be my go to product for jobs where I'm trying to move them fast to maximize profits.

And also not that it's a big deal but the smell is not for me. Reminded me of medicine.

Now onto the results.... Anyone wanna buy a jar of p21s I've barley used? Because after using this I don't need it anymore. Car looks amazing under the lights. It is a black metal tri coat from vw. The finish is super glossy and looks great in the light of my garage. It's already dark so I'll get some sun pictures later.

All in all this wax seems great. I'll try to not use anything else for now and get an idea on durability and once it's out in the rain I'll get some bead pics.

I'm really happy with this wax and would reccomend anyone try it. I can't wait to see it in the sun. View attachment 28689

Wow , great job with Drew s killer wax mate !

Thanx for sharing .

I have put a few coats of the new PHOENIX wax and imo is one
of the best waxes that I have used. A very thin coat is all that is needed to get great results. Plus added coats gives outsta:dblthumb2:nding results. A deeper and great reflections. Worth a try.

I plan on giving the car a wash again tomorrow for a second coat. I'm just really impressed with the look of the paint. I couldn't stop staring at my car as I walked away from it.
