I've been a member here for a while, total amatuer only detailing my own vehicles. I just traded my '10 Porsche Cayman and '03 Ram 1500 in on a new '14 Ram 1500 4x4 Black Out Edition. For the very first detail I'd like to find a local professional to get her set up right, and possibly apply a paint sealant as well. I'm hoping there is someone on here that I can use, as I have come to trust the advice I get on here, and I would like to give something back to this community, at least in a small way.
So what do you think of paint sealant on a new 4x4? Would it help prevent light scratches from off-roading? Would it help she'd mud, dirt, and grime after mudding?
. She is too pretty to go mudding and get scratched, at least until I get something in place to protect it. I think I may be more anal about this truck than I was with the Porsche....
Any other tips for protecting brand new paint? Any tips on a first detail if I do it myself?
Thank You!
Mike
