Protectant for Trailhawk hood decal?

Looking for something to protect the hood decal on my Renegade Trailhawk. I saw McKee's makes a product that looks pretty good (saw Mike's review of it). My only question is, would that work on the decal since it's textured? It'd say it feels like a smooth bedliner. It's not just a satin finish decal.

Budget just found out that CanCoat can be applied to matte with no issues.
 
I like working with the Dr. Beasley's Matte Finish Products. McKee's 37, CarPro & Gyeon also offer some great products for matte finishes and decals.
