Just picked up my newly wrapped (now one of a kind) Lincoln yesterday and need to get some protection on the vinyl for a trip to Detroit next week for the 100th anniversary of Lincoln.

I’ve ordered Gtechniq’s Halo coating, but won’t have it in time. I want to stick with an easy ceramic type spray on install that I can remove later and then put the long term coating on over the winter.

Was thinking of going with PA Invincible Primer Spritz + Cosmic Spritz.

Need to stick with something I already have (which you don’t know), so Kamikaze Overcoat is an option. I don’t have Gyeon CanCoat at the moment.

Give me your ideas and recommendation.

I’m not a Lincoln fan, but damn that car’s nice. And super rare too. Congrats on owning it.

Awesome ride. How do you plan to remove the temporary coating?

Its called bad timing. Lincoln gets its right after years of rebadging and the sedan market implodes. Classic Lincoln. A shame. But take it easy dude. That's why you wrapped it. Think of itas a condom on your Lincoln. Last I checked, Condoms are disposable..........

You can actually do a light polish on the vinyl which is how I was planning to remove whatever I put on it as temporary protection.

That or use something like a CarPro Gloss Pad (super soft) and a mild cleaner like Polish Angel Escalate Lotion. Will have to do more research on what chemicals are “safe.”

I use Meguiar’s 39 to clean the vinyl top on my ’70 Riviera and it does a great job.

Ultimately I went with Artdeshine Bio Nano Pro to give me the temporary protection I was looking for. Not as durable as I was initially thinking. It’s only going to last a few months, which will get me to the end of our summer driving season here and I will be able to coat the car while it is stored over the winter.
