PSA: 410-200-500 is being used by Cybercriminals - Don't CLICK LINK!


I just received 2 texts messages from this number

410-200-500

Which is not a complete phone number. Note the last set of 3 digits instead of the normal 4 digits.

What I normally do anytime I receive suspect looking e-mails or text messages is run the number through Skynet and see what the BORG turns up.

Here's what I found,

1-410-200-500 is being used by Cybercriminals



Then I BLOCK the number and delete the message.

I have the Stop robocalls and telemarketers with Nomorobo app on my phone. $24 annual fee but it blocks scam texts and calls, plus you can share the information and they will lock them down as well. Worth the money for me.
