Hi Folks

In the absent of Opt finish polish ( make a mistake to my order and had left out this item)

Polish: Planning to use white LC CSC pad with Optimum polish II

Finishing : Since the I do not have OPT finish polish this time round. Should I use a less aggressive pad i.e. Green / Gray with optimum polish II to finish up the car before LSP? any help or not needed?

LSP : either Klasse SG or Collinite 845

Working on daily driver white car.

Thanks for advice

Most of the better medium to light cut polishes can finish down nicely just by changing to a finishing pad. Optimum polishes are certainly in that group. Remember that a polish can take on different roles by changing out the pads, arm speed, pressure, etc. It doesn't necessarily have to say "finishing polish" on the label to achieve outstanding results.

Hate the answer but it depends. Mostly on how hard the paint is. Only way to know for sure is to try. If it is hard, could work.

Yes, try a black or even blue pad.

Polish II finishes good. If you need more, you can use a softer pad as mentioned.
