This was my 1st car and as of today its gone:( Sold it on Ebay at the begining of this month and is now headed to its new owner in McKinney Texas :(

I've had this car since I was 16 years old, so for nine years I've taken care of this baby, since it was my baby:(

Bye Bye good friend and I hope you see you someday

this was the 1st car that I polish btw...and it was awful because I did it all wrong. Before it I shipped it I worked it with a GG6 the new UNO pads and UNO 3 and got pretty much 75% of the scratches out. Good times.

I feel your pain, perhaps someday you'll be reunited....

It happens to all of us....

Thanks Bobby:(

Going to work a bit harder and pick up a 1993~1995 Toyota Supra TT Hardtop. God can't stand the targa top.

Tear.. I to took a pic of my car as she was driven away..

My sentiments are with you.

Wonder if I will see it around town some time. I sendup school with a kid that had one. Blew the motor right after he got it racing of course

Such a sad day :( I know the feeling... I sold my 1960 Chevy Bel-Air about 2 years ago and I cried... What are you getting to replace it?

It is always sad to see a friend go.

The guy who purchased it is in the USMC. He's overseas atm, stationed in okinawa but will be back in about four days to TX. So if you do see it on the streets just wave:)

Nothing. I have a Kia Optima LX that's my daily, and I'm looking for a 'real' job right now. So nothing for a very long time. The next car that's on my list to purchase however is a Miata however. Kind of want a sub 3000lb car to have fun with.

Why not look into a BMW Z3? They are amazing powerhouses and very similar in weight to the Miata... And the prices are good for them... If you do look for one dont go with a 1.9l though...

Yeah it's going to be a few years before I purchase a fun car. If I let go of my daily I'll probably pick up a EVO VIII/IX.

Just want a fun lightweight car in the less than 3000lb arena.

too bad Toyota doesn't make them anymore...all they now make is tree hugging demonratic prius and other crap like that...

I bought my airplane in Mckinney, Texas. It's nice there...the car will be happy...hot as hell, but happy.

Sorry you had to let her go. If I had the money, I gladly would have sent you an offer. I sure hope the next owner takes care of it and doesn't end up building the crap out of it and installing body kits, etc.

A car as rare as that should be kept stock IMO. They make a good amount of power even in stock form.

You had that car since you were 16 you say? You must have been the luckiest 16 year old at your school. That really is one of the best sports cars of the 90s.

Going to man up and I'm sure you already figured out but my Mother purchased that car for me. After the vehicle purchase it all rested on me and it sucked. During high school all my money went into maintenance, insurance, tires, and all the other responsibility of a car owner. Looking back things weren't that expensive but for a high school student it kind of was (did my own oil and filter change - 60~100 bucks, 1000 bucks just for rear tires, 1000~500 dollars for six months of insurance etc etc).

It was the worst decision in my life if I really looked at it clearly, but that car gave me five good years of amazingly good time. Especially meeting the local car people and just having a good time making new friends and such.

And yes besides the NSX the Toyota MKIV Supra was seriously thee Badass car that the japanese imported. It really does suck that Toyota doesn't make anything serious anymore besides the new LF-A (out of my price range LOL 350k MSRP) and the soon to be FR-S which doesn't really get me excited.

oh well time to move on and get that job and purchase another one down the line.

Wow, the maintenance on that car seems to be more expensive than I thought

I'm sure the cost of all that was probably worth it since you got to drive such an awesome car.

And I know the FR-S doesn't seem to be as exciting as a Supra, but I heard some inside information which just may change your mind about it.

Scroll down to the really long post about 1/3 of the way down.

Was it twin turbo

Yeah.

Stock twins with a HKS Ti Racing exhaust system, RMM Downpipe, Greddy BCC, and a intake. A very basic BPU Supra.

I wanted to do everything right when I went APU so I never got around to do doing it since it would've cost nearly 10~15 grand. Wanted to go 67ish mm twins with supporting fuel etc etc.
