Question about back plate for PC.

Hey guys I bought the Wolfgang kit with the PC and im quite confused about the backing plate. I understand that it screw into place, but the PC came with what I think is a gray washer. Am I suppose to you the washer or just use the back plate without it.

Yes, you want to use the washer that came with the backing plate.

Thanks! Also another question, the PC came with a polisher. Would you recommend using it at all? I don't know the quality of it and what to use it for.

I still have the white pad that comes with the PC but doubt I'll ever use it. You'd have to remove your backing plate to use it so IMO it's not worth trouble. Just having trouble throwing it away for some reason.

These polishers work very well but if you'd like to improve their performance then switch to a 5" backing plate and 5 1/2 flat pads.

Lake Country backing plate

I got the MF bonnets but it doesn't seem to fit on it, so I don't think it was meant for that, but I don't think I'll use it from hearing others responses.

I actually found that with the right metal polish that these pads work AMAZING on Diamond plate!! I salvaged mine from the trash just to try it one day and I'm so glad I did!
