So, I just bought a 2011 Silverado. The interior is black. I noticed today when I was detailing both rear doors that the arm rests look either faded or someone used a cleaner that didn't react well with the plastic. I don't have pictures at the moment, but can upload some later, but in the crevices of the textured black, it looks either faded or someone left protectant on the arm rests. Does anyone know of either a way I could clean this or use something like an interior version of Black Wow? Thanks!

I had a similar situation.

They turned out to be very dirty.

Scrubbed with APC and dressed with Blackfire Interior Protectant.

Look great now.

Good Luck

How durable is that plastic? What type of brush should I use? I don't want to take the coating off the plastic, if there is any.

I used a microfiber towel to scrub.

Medium Pressure.

Do a "Test Spot" first

sounds like it's dirty or it's sunblock.
if regular cleaning doesn't fix it then it's most likely Sunblock and baby wipes or baby oil will work
