I understand that the polish cut or aggressiveness can be altered by using different pads like white, green, orange etc and this would be tested out on a test spot to find what works best on your paint. I'm going to be doing my 2009 white maxima and thinking about trying out the optimum MF pads I have but where does the MF pads fall in line as far as aggressiveness goes....using SI1500 with a MF pad would I get more cut than say SI1500 with and orange pad????
My car has only light swirls and I tried out a few different products by hand in a small area(maybe 4"X4") with a clean MF towel to see what they would do to the swirls. I tried SI1500 for a good amount of time in a small area and then tried FG400 in a small area but the swirls were still there. Starting to think the clear might be hard on this car . Anybody have experience on 2009 white maxima clear...what did you find hard, soft ?????
Anyways I will keep reading here and will put some PICs up in show and shine once I get started. Feed back please
