No body is my area does detailing of any kind. About 6 months ago I started doing a couple of jobs a month and has slowly grown into 2 a week. I do this for a little side money along the side of my regular job. With the increase I figured i needed to get some set prices put together and this is what I came up with. What do you think?

Exterior
Stage 1
Wash
Clay bar
Spray wax (last about 2 weeks)
Tires dressed
Windows cleaned

Stage 2
Wash
Clay bar
Stage one wax (last about 2 to 4 weeks)
Tires dressed
Trim dressed
Windows cleaned

Stage 3
Wash
Clay bar
Higher grade wax (last 4 to 6 weeks)
Tires dressed
Trim dressed
Door jams cleaned.
Windows cleaned

Stage 1 (60 for cars 70 for suv 75 for trucks)
Stage 2 (75 for cars 85 for suv 90 for trucks)
Stage 3 (90 for car 100 for suv 115 truck)

stage 3 truck should be 105? you went up 15 on every other upgrade then 25 for whatever reason..Also what's the difference between 2 and 3 wax wise. I see time of protection but is it brand? Liquid vs sovereign? Just curious

You should replace the wax with power lock on stage 3. stage 1 should just be a wash and stage 2 should be a wash/wax.

They are all basically the same.

Offer one package of that type that includes something like this:

Wash
Bug & Tar
Some AIO/Cleaner Wax (lasts 3-6 months)
Tires dressed
Trim dressed
Door jams cleaned
Windows cleaned

Add on service: clay/decontamination, it gives you a chance to explain something to the customer and show off your knowledge. Most people (for me) opt for decontamination after I make them feel their paint with a baggy then feel my car (which is smooth as glass).

and consider thinking about giving the interior 10-15 minutes of your time with a quick vacuum and wipe down of the dash, console and steering wheel. Customers like to "feel" a difference and the steering wheel is the perfect place, going from usually a slick, disgusting steering wheel, to something their hands stick to because it's clean.

Keep things simple with limited choices if you aren't doing any type of paint correction. If you have a DA use it, if not pick one up for the cleaner wax/AIO product, it really does help add a little more shine.
