i just polished and waxed my truck 2 weeks ago with swirl x, fk1000p and XMT 180, i love the results. i want to use the "SEMA20" code to buy some Liquid Souveran. would it be okay to do a coat of LS after a good wash, or do i need to remove the previously applied sealant/wax from 2 weeks ago?

Thanks

Liquid Souvern is a carnuba based wax I am pretty sure so as long as you apply a thin coat over the sealant, and it has properly cured I think you will be ok. A thick layer may see some issues with streaking, but a good QD should help. Guys correct me if I am wrong here

Just make sure its good and clean then wax away. FYI a little LS goes a loooong way ;)

Thanks for the input guys! im also buying a bottle of FK 425 QD!

its official, i caught the DETAILING bug Im the MAN... just wish it didnt take a week for shipping :(

Just a suggestion, I would skip the FK425 and grab a bottle of Ultima Waterless Wash Considerate. It makes an excellent waterless wash and an even better QD then FK425. Plus its a WHOLE lot cheaper. $20.99 will get you about 5 1/2 gallons of product ;)

Really? Ultima is slicker the FX425

I find it to be VERY slick. So much so that I stripped the wax off half a panel, sprayed the Ultima of that that half and couldn't tell the difference from the wax side to the no wax side when I slid my fingers across the paint.

I think Liquid Souveran and FK425 makes a sporting combo !

Thats slick! I may have to try that.

Scott, have you tried the UWW+ yet? It will change your ideas about many things we do or did!

Its on my short list ... need to get the crew back from SEMA before I send a wish list.

Big fan of the Ultima Waterless now since I tried it out, I noticed it to be very slick as well

Yeppp Ultima waterless is fantastic! So slick! You can really tell its leaving something behind on the surface.
