How many gallons is your water tank and how many cars will it do? Thank you guys :xyxthumbs:

All the units I sell have 125 gallon tanks. Amount of cars depends on work being done. Full details require more water but you do less in a day. Regular car washes, I have done 8 before needing to refill (but I empty soap bucket after every car and teh rinse bucket after every other car)

Great thanks for the reply. I'm thinking of getting a low profile tank for the bed of my truck. So I just wanted to find out what I should expect.

I have a 65 gallon tank with a 2200 psi 2.1gpm PW and can get 6-10 washes with it. I only spray the car before the wash enough to get it wet then rinse off all soap after. Maybe a gallon to wet and maybe 4-6 gallons to rinse off.

I have a Honda pressure washer that I'm planning on mounting with a 100' hose and reel. Is there a middle man between the pressure washer and the water tank like another pump or does the pressure washer suck it out. And where did you get your tank? I'm thinking of getting a 90 gallon.

I am going to be making a post here in the future about my other business (yes, I've cleared with AG mods), but we build and sell mobile detailing trailers in addition to the detailing work. If you're interested, our units are fairly basic and significantly less money than most of the other trailers on the market today.

Anyways, if you're interested, we ship to 48 continental states and take visa/master/discover as well as paypal. And if you have any questions about how to plumb these or what to buy etc, PM me and I'll be glad to help!

Do you sell just the tank and the pump?

If you set up the water tank about a foot higher than the inlet of the Pw you don't need a pump. I have a 10" hose running from my tank to the Pw and don't have any issues. It gravity feeds itself. I bought the tank at a local farm supply for $150.

Great thanks for the info! Do you know if this applies to all pressure washers? Mine is a gas powered Honda.

What kind of gas powered honda? GC190? GC160? GX190-200? And what type of pump? Most direct drive's can pull water from a gravity feed, even if they're on the same level. The water pressure from the tank is plenty enough to feed a pump on a pressure washer.

I have a 225 gallon tank mounted in a van with a honda gas pressure washer self-priming. It is on the same level as the tank outlet. Have not needed any middleman pump. The PW draws water on its own, no trouble. The PW connects to a 100 ft hose. Love the setup.

Also have an air compressor with 100 ft hose. Tornador is the best piece of equipment I ever bought.
