So I've been washing and detailing cars for a few months for family members and friends. Today I found a good deal on a mobile detailing trailer with a generator, pressure washer, and 100 gallon water tank, and I think I'm going to buy it. So I was wondering, other than making my company an LLC, what do I need?

Any help is appreciated,

Max

i bought my mobile biz over 3 years ago with the same thing your saying generator pw an 100 gallon tank. How much are they wanting for the biz are you getting a client list or chemicals? you need to regester you biz in your state/county as a llc an once thats done you need to look in to insurance an bank account. an once thats done all you need to do is make sure you have everything you need (for the most part) but after you have your biz incense an insurance your pretty much good to go. then its just making your setup work for you i have changed the trailer around about 10 time just to make it more organized an more efficient for your needs

Well I'm not actually buying a business, just a trailer. They want $3000 but the trailer alone is probably worth more than that. It's a closed trailer with a top that opens, it's a really awesome trailer, and it comes with the generator and pressure washer like I said. As far as chemicals I'm not exactly sure, I have most of that stuff already but there was a lot of equipment inside that was included, a rotary buffer among other things.

I was just curious whether, for example, there are any permits I need for the water runoff and things like that, or if I just need to make it an LLC, open an acct, get insurance and get to work.
