Hello all,

After tons of research I want to switch my hobbyist wash style up and move towards a foam cannon, undercarriage wash, and regular rinse all using my power washer. Currently I have a Troy Bilt that I believe runs at 2400 2500 PSI. I cannot remember. The current gun and wand it uses looks like this.

I want to move to a model where I have just a short gun that does not have an extension molded into it and quick connect all the attachments including the wand, the foam cannon, and this flex wand I bought for wheel wheels and under carriage. I am hoping to have a wand with quick connect nozzles as well.

I plan to buy a new gun and wand, most likely a hose as well. My questions are:

1. Does anyone make a setup like this where the wand quick connects to a short gun, or do I need to build this?

2. Is there a certain style I need to stick with to make it easy to build this and make my connection to a Chemical Guys or AG style foam cannon easy?

3. I keep seeing mention of the word MTM. Is this an acronym for something or is it a fitting type or a brand?

4. Is the pic I listed above considered a karcher style?

Thanks so much.

I built mine. Here's what I did:

Here is the trigger I bought. Then I put a short piece of brass pipe on it so it is only 5" or so from the start to the tip. I didn't like using a full wand.
My Spray Trigger

Pipe
The little brass extension I used

I would get a spray trigger that is appropriate for the psi of your pressure washer.

Brand - MTM Hydro

That appears to be M22.

I hope that helps!

Did you put some sort of quick connect at the end of the 5" pipe?

As far as the M22 fitting, when looking at the AutoGeek cannon, I do not see that fitting listed, am I missing something? Maybe I should just grab one of the cheaper ones on amazon.

Great info thanks.

Yessir, I did. I attached the pipe to the trigger, then attached the quick-connect coupler to the other end of the pipe. This way, you can quick connect a spray nozzle or the cannon.

The male quick-connect screws into the cannon. I used teflon tape on all of these threaded connections.

Click this for the coupler: Quick Connect coupler set

The M22 is how the hose attaches from the pressure washer to the trigger. I used quick connects here, too. You just have to get the right one.

As far as I know, all of the foam cannons use connect the same way... with the 1/4" male quick connect coupler. There's another thread on here somewhere that talks about this. I'll see if I can find it.
