Questions on my detailing plan

How's it going guys, I have a few products I bought last year but never got around to doing it. I'm glad I didn't because I learned from this site that I purchased the wrong items. I currently use a da polisher. I also have 3 foam pads for cutting, polishing and waxing. I have 3m super duty cutting compound and 3m perfect it finishing polish#2. My question is I know I can't use the da polisher with the 3m products. If I go out and buy a high speed buffer/variable speed polisher, can I use the 3m products with goood results? So using a high speed buffer and 3m super duty compound and the 3m perfect it finishing polish.i would like to use the products I already have then to go out and buy more stuff and waste the others. Thanks for your help. Oh and my car is a silver 2003 and has never been compounded/ polished....

If you've never used a high speed polisher.... May I suggest you get new chemicals.
Maybe even a larger backing plate and other pads.

You need more pads, at least 4-6 of each.

You don't want to be rubbing junk like this all over your paint.
