Time to probe the minds of the Guru's,

What is the best Quick detailer mixed or straight out of the bottle?

What is the best Quick wax?

What is the best case scenario to use one or the other?

Not sure I'd call myself a Guru, but here's my opinion.

Pound for pound/dollar for dollar best quik detailer: Wolfgang Uber diluted @3oz. per gallon. Honorable mention goes to Meguiars Last Touch, used straight undiluted. Main reason Uber gets the nod is because it's more cost effective.

Best quik wax/spray wax: Meguiars D156 Synthetic Express Spray Wax. At $29.99 per gallon this RTU spray sealant is hard to beat. Performs great on a clean dry surface or as a drying aid after a bucket wash. Can also be used on trim, chrome, exterior glass, interior leather, etc.
Smells good, user friendly, can be used in direct sun.

There is a blackhole of them here. I just tried Car Pro ech20 as a detail spray. Have to say it is quite impressive. Also leaves behind some protection as well.

Many choices here but check out an underdog...303 Aerospace has an awesome, VERY underrated QD and newish spray wax. Both will exceed your expectations...they did for me 👈

For QD: if you want the one that leaves the least streaks behind- Chemical Guys Speed Wipe.
if you want one that adds some sealant CG VO7.

For Quik Wax: I like Mother's California Gold Spray Wax

If you best of both worlds buy some Optimum No Rinse Wash & Wax and dilute to detailer strength.

Yes, they hold a prominent place on my shelf!

Wolfgang Uber Rinseless Concentrate is great for QD.
Griots Speed Shine is nice, too.

For a spray wax...
I'm a longtime DG Aquawax fan.
But I recently took a liking to Sonax Brilliant Shine Detailer (it's more akin to a spray wax than A QD).

Kenotech Showroom Shine is quite nice.

maybe im wrong but pound for pound, dollar for dollar means the best at any weight/price. it sounds like you're just going with the cheapest?

Thanks for the replies so far. Lots of opinions , The pics tell the story . Post them up. As far as the scenario of which to use, I use the QD for light dirt/ dusty. Spray wax more for final pop on clean surface. :autowash::autowash::postpics:

MERRY CHRISTMAS

I have Meguiars Quik Interior Detailer but it has a chemical smell the wife hates. The D156 wax is decent.

It's not about being cheap, it's about value and performance. The products I mentioned make me happy in both regards.

Here's an example of the kind of dust/dirt Wolfgang Uber can handle as a waterless without a problem. [yes the paint has swirls, they've been there long before I ever met the car] But I don't instill any new swirls whenever I wash this car.
