What's a good detailer to use while compound or polish stages in case streaks appear!? Correct if I'm wrong some say the have more polish wax etc than others!?

I'd use D114, ONR, or McKees N-914 if I had that problem.

Never really had that problem though, but I always remove any residue right away.

Some compounds and polishes may have more polishing oils than others.

What do you get streaking with?

Depending on what is causing the "streaks," it might be wiser to wipe with a 10% IPA and fresh MF towel, since most detailers may introduce chemicals that hinder compound or polishing work.

What is IPA? And is there some quick detailer to avoid that will add was etc

Using d114, McKees n914 isn't going to leave a film. It's safe to use as long as you mix it up at the correct concentration
