Quick question aboutpolishing and waxing.

I have a cyclo (love the thing) and I am wondering if there is such a thing of over doing it on applying the products? I see so many cars done on here and mine do not look that good. Don't get me wrong,I do a great job. I use topoftheline products but I am wondering if I may be polishing and waxing TOO much.

You can definitely polish your car to much. I try my best to prevent swirls and polish my cars as little as possible. Each time you polish you car you are taking off a little clearcoat. I keep my cars waxed but putting more then a couple of coats of wax on is a waste of time and money. I like to put on a sealant then a coat of wax. Once in a while I might put on a 2nd coat of wax.

Let me clarify. What I meant to say was when applying, should I apply it till it disapears or apply it with little pressure and leave a little film on the car then buff it off?

That all depends on which product you use.....some a little haze , others you wipe off right away....
