One week ago today I applied a layer of Max Wax to brighten up the wife's black car.

Application was easy. I did a 1/3,1/3,1/3 followed by a final buff with a Cobra Indigo.
I managed to apply a thin layer. Something that takes practice and I feel like I've got that learned.

Max Wax produced a brilliant, deep shine. It will be my quarterly dress up wax until it's gone.

We had a soft rain shower this morning so here's the beading of Max Wax.

Very nice indeed, and for the price you can't go wrong.

Max Wax will be my choice for monthly dress up until it's gone.

It reminds me alot of the older Pinnacle Paste Glaz and well worth the price of admission.

Been hearing good things about DP max wax. It will def be my next wax purchase. Just gotta get using all the other stuff I have first.

Very nice review. I have been very interested in trying Max Wax out but I feel guilty purchasing too many new waxes when I already have too much sitting on my shelf.

I will say it again, DP is our most under rated line. I haven't met a DP product that has not really impressed me. I encourage you all to give any DP product a try!

I was thinking about your thread before I got to your post. Some awesome pics in that thread. I'm with Meghan on DP being an awesome line of products. Every time we talk about DP I start using more of my DP and I'm still impressed with all of the line, especially Max Wax.

Hehe yeah it is good stuff! Hopefully through constant badgering I can convince my boss to switch over to it :)

I really do wish DP would bring back its swirl removers. It will be a sad day when I finally run out. I dont think there has every been anything so effective under the PC.

How does the Max Wax compare to Souveran in terms of application and removal ease?

I haven't removed Souveran...yet..:D

But the removal took very little effort and the car was warm, but out of the sun. I also did a final walk around buffing too. Nice and slick! When I wash it, the mitt wants to glide on its own. :)

I just finished an 04 Saab with 2 layers of Max Wax over 3M Professional Finish. I'll post it soon. I have to wait for the drizzle to pause before I can get it outside to take pics.

Ok, thanks! Anyone else with experience with both products? I have and love Souveran! It is the easiest buttery wax I have used. P21S Concours comes in a close second.

Those beads look awsome - I will have to try some of that. I have kind of been stuck in a rut on Black Cars and have been using Chemical Guys - Pete's 53. It has 90 plus day Durability, Great Depth But the beads are Big some stick above the surface almost a quarter of an inch - Just like Psycho EYE POPPING BEADS - There is nothing like it. But I will give this a try. I hate waiting on shipments from CA - Even for superior products.

Waiting for Max Wax to show up on the BOGO page. Hint, hint....:D
