Hi everyone. You may have seen my recent post on correcting and coating a customer's Camaro. I also did an engine compartment cleanup for him and used the opportunity to try out McKee's 37 Engine Degreaser.

I'll keep this review short and sweet.

After covering up sensitive electronics, I sprayed the degreaser onto the problem areas which needed to be cleaned. The first thing I noticed about this product is that it does not have an offensive odor like most other degreasers I have used. This makes the experience so much more pleasant for me as I hate products with harsh chemical smells.

I allowed the product to dwell for a bit and used a combination of brushes and towels to clean out the grime. The cleaning power of this stuff is great. You can see the cleaner working right as you spray onto the dirt. Again, very pleasant to use when there isn't an overwhelming chemical smell.

I followed up with CarPro PERL (4:1) for the plastics and rubbers and used McKee's 37 Fast Wax on the painted parts of the engine compartment.

I was very pleased with the performance of this degreaser. Nothing I can complain about.

That's all I've got, thanks for looking!

One of the best and safe engine degreasers i have used. Have some comming for my spring detail. I follow up with sonus motor kote.

Great review Haris! Thanks for doing this for us.

Did you rinse the degreaser down or just wipe it off?

I tried using the same approach with Meguiar's Engine Cleaner but they said I had to rinse it off with water.

Thank you guys!

I just wiped it off with another towel. I've used Meguiar's D108 at 10:1 for engine cleaning and it seems so much harsher than the McKee's 37 Engine Degreaser. A bit irritating for the nose and eyes.

Nice cleanup/transformation Harris.

Looks like it performed admirably well. Even better you can follow up with just a towel on cleanup rather than rinsing off with a hose. Although if the bay is pretty dirty and a good bit of product is sprayed I think it would be best to follow up with a good rinse down.

Thanks for sharing.
