Quick Wash + Hybrid V7 = Impressed

Been dying to detail my month old 2012 SS. Unfortunately in AZ that becomes quite the challenge in the summer. Need to get my garage cleaned out so I can do my detailing whenever.

Decided to do a quick wash and dry when the sun started going down and have been dying to try some of the products I just got in the mail Friday. No time for anything other than a quick wash, so I decided I'd follow the wash up with some CG Hybrid V7.

A picture is worth a thousand words. The sun was going down pretty quick, but I got one snapped with some decent light.

I know my detailing bug is back, because I was sweating my a$$ off, yet I was happy as a clam.

Amazing look to that paint! I like it as well being that I have never seen one in this color. Too many black, red, and yellows Camaros.

It's a chameleon, it really changes depending on time of day and angle of the sun. I love it, really dynamic paint. Most of the time it photographs pretty much red. You can see the differences in the pic I posted and IOM's avatar.

These pics were also take by the same iPhone 4s Camera as in my OP, but in direct sun. You can see what I'm talking about, the metal flake is insane.

Interesting! My car has a similar effect with seeing the car in the sun and in the shade.

Red jewel tint coat which isn't available anymore acts the same way. Appears to change color depending on amount of sun light hitting it.
