Rag co. Liquid8r M22 drying towel.

I have 2 of the 16 X 16 Liquid8rs, one is enough to do the Nissan, the FJ has more surface area to dry, so I just do the paint and glass with one, and on the trim, bullbar and door jams I use a synthetic chamois.

I lightly blow off the cars with a cordless blower and a 16x16 PFM is good enough for two cars. Or if I sheet the water off a single car. For me a quick blowoff (2 minutes) and a towel is the fastest way to go. Sheeting takes much longer. As does just using towels.

I use the sheeting method as well, but mainly in the cooler months, when I use it in summer I get waterspots on the glass, for some reason the water dries faster on the glass than the paint. In summer I move it back inside the garage and dry the glass first, then the paint.
 
I have not purchased a new drying towel in years. I may pick up a 6 zillion gsm one. But that reminds me. I need to wash some microfiber.
