after your car get exposed to rain how soon do you wash it? do you wash it after every exposure to rain? here in Florida, I am washing after rain as my car is left very dirty, which I assume is from road dirt. I see marketing that products have self cleaning but those seemed to make my car look dirty with water spots anyone of those really work?

Sounds like you’d have to wash fairly often?

Why not rinse the vehicle and then do a waterless wash to help speed up the process?

I would wash after rain. There's no miracle product to keep the car truly clean after driving in rain so take your pick: waterless, rinseless,or hose.

Coming up next week in my part of Florida, it's going to rain during the middle part of the week so I would wait until alll the rainy days are over before washing.

true. I am in Florida too. Not looking forward to love bug season. How do you deal with love bugs?

Autogeek sells a product that you apply to the paint that you wash off along with the bugs. I think it's called Bug Shield. I use a product that works in the identical way called Pro Bug Guard. Both are great. Do be sure to wash off the bugs ASAP.
