My car detailer tinted my windows today, he told me not to roll them down or wash them for 48 hours.

It started raining a few minutes ago, will this ruin the tint?

I tinted my windows during a big snow storm 1 month ago. Nothing wrong with my windows.

Your windows should be fine. Unless they got somehow really wet while it was raining. (don't know how that would happen)

Also now that you have tinted windows use a proper window cleaner so you don't damage the window tint. (just a friendly heads up)

Since it has not been explicitly stated in this thread... In case you are unaware, the tint is applied to the inside of the glass so there is no way rain will harm it in any way.

You shouldn't wash/clean the inside of the glass for a certain period of time so that you do not cause the tint to shift.

You will be fine as everyone said. If your concerned give it an extra day before you roll them down. Also as for the cleaner, nothing with Ammonia in it.

Most Tinters commonly offer pretty good warrantees with their work, so even if you should have a problem down the road, they'll most likely make good.
