Spent the weekend doing a clean... I'm new to this forum and new to detailing beyond the basic over the counter washing products and techniques, but trying to learn. Here's what I did:

Wash and dry, two bucket method
Tar-X and Iron-X followed by a rinse. Vehicle didn't show too much metal or tar contamination in paint and is still basically new, but I did this just in case.
Pinnacle Clay Bar (clayed everything, including windows and chrome bits)
Klasse AIO Cleaner Sealant (applied on all paint and chrome/trim)
Meguiars Window Cleaner
Adams VRT on tires and rubber bits
Used chemical guys wash mitts, microfiber towels, and microfiber applicators

Didn't have time to hit it with the Klasse Sealant Glaze. Will probably apply it in a week or two; I think I can just apply it after doing a normal wash and dry if the paint isn't too contaminated with dirt. I was pretty impressed with just the AIO.

The hardest part was being unable to work in the shade or in a garage due to the vehicle's size. I had to do smaller portions and work more quickly with applying and removing certain products to avoid the sun drying out the clay lubricant and Klasse.

I really like how the Klasse AIO worked. Unfortunately, it already rained some (once again, can't fit this in a garage!), but the rain left no water spots and simply beaded off the truck, so it seems to be working correctly. I also liked he Adams VRT; it gave the rubber and plastic bits a clean like-new look that wasn't overly glossy or artificial.

...and the results:

Very nice work on that green Silverado. The flake in the paint is beautiful. Thanks for the close up picture of the flake in the A-frame shot.

You may want to pick up a machine to help out on that amount of paint.

Thanks for sharing.

Looks awesome, Guess I am lucky I though my home garage was not big enough till I started home shopping. Mines 23X25 I can fit our work Chevy 2500 extended cab in with an 7 1/2" foot plow on it barley but it fits. My Tundra crew cad fits with room to get around front and back. Still want to build a second detached garage 24X32 though the more room the better.

I love your truck! I was looking at picking up the 4 door 1500 in that same color. It's just a really really nice shade of green.

Great looking truck. That green looks beautiful up close.

Thanks everyone - I did it all by hand. Took a few hours!

That might be my new favorite color on the market. Great work man!

Very nice outcome.

I have always like green, especially a green with some metal flake in it.

How was the interior? I helped a neighbor with his truck. It was a Dodge and the paint was nearly perfect. But the interior?:doh: .

I spent an entire afternoon, almost a half gallon of Folex, and ten rinses with fresh, hot water before I was satisfied that the actual color of the carpet was what the factory intended.
