This thread is for anyone who enjoys photography. Post any random/favorite photos that you have taken.

If you have any questions about photos, discuss it, technique, location, camera/lens, etc....

Is that a bald eagle?

Yes it is, it's a small one. Here's a picture with it's partner...

And another one of the neighbors (magpie)...

This was up in Alaska a few years back. It was in a wildlife preserve.

Wife took this one of me on our honeymoon and felt it was worth sharing too. (St. Lucia)

First 2 were with a Canon XSi and Tamron AF 17-50mm F/2.8 XR

Did you use editing software? Because kit lens doesn't have THAT MUCH bokeh.

Yep, you caught me. I'm using Lightroom3

Here is the orig shot. I wanted the image only going through the glasses to be in focus, so I blurred around it.

That pic was original? I don't think my kit lens can take shot like that, so much bokeh.

Yea, I don't know how it turned out so well. I just set it to ~35mm and the lowest aperture f/5.0

I think most of the bokeh is from the focus point.
