Re-discovering old gems

I’ve been patiently waiting to have the time to polish my Camaro SS, and then finish it with Dodo Juice Orange Crush. It sure looked BEAUTIFUL on my old bright red Z28, time to see what it looks like on metallic orange. Hopefully soon-ish, and again before Woodward Dream Cruise.

Still loving Duragloss 253 also.

I still have Blue Velvet and Light Fantastic on the shelf from, well, a long time ago. Still good to go. I also bought a small test pot of Supernatural Hybrid wax last year.

The Feynlab Black Velvet Tire Sealant has carbon black in it. I presumed it was going to be very similar to the Endura-Shine, but Feynlab refers to it as a latex-based product, while most of these others are referred to as acrylics.

I compared the SDS's for the Feynlab, the Optimum Tire Protection and Coating, and ADS Ghost, and found really no similarity between them. It's possible this is just the chemist that prepared them, as the Ghost shows no reportable ingredients, so there is no clue as to what is in there. The Feynlab shows only a couple of solvents and carbon black...so no clue what the "glue" is on that one.

The Optimum TPC contains a small amount of solvent along with a fair amount of water but is mostly Acrylonitrile-butyl acrylate-styrene copolymer which is the acrylic resin, which doesn't really seem to be hazardous (and neither is water) which is why it may be in the other products but they decided not to list it.
