Re: Pad inducing micro swirls in the paint?

Mike! Did you ever get the chance to figure out a good pad/polish/compound combo for my current problem? I have looked into purchasing the three different brands of pads you sent me. Let me know! Thanks!

Awesome! Thanks for the input! I greatly appreciate it!

Did you have a chance to look at my youtube videos of my paint condition after trying to correct my paint??

Get back to me when you can with further information about the pads and how you think I should attack my paint! THANKS!!

Hi Ruben,

I tested multiple pads with the Torq FX10 dual action polisher. I had never used this tool before and I was under the impression it was a version of a RUPES long orbit stroke polisher but it's not.

It's a version of the Meguiar's MT300 which is a version of the polisher that started the dual action polisher industry and that's the the Porter Cable 7424XP.

Here's the deal...

YOU WANT THIN PADS

I'm writing a new article today on thin pads so hang tight. As for the compounds and polishes, I still stand by what I wrote.

Also just to note, I tested the Torq on this project, more pictures to come...
