Whats your favorite way to remove the light swirls on the plastic in front of the cluster?

I like using Meguiar's PlastX on suede microfiber applicators (basically, lens cloths). I wad a small piece of one inside another and make a little nickle sized "pad". Prime the pad with a drop of product with your finger and then work just a drop or two of additional product into the surface. Work it until it turns into a smudge-y film. Then I use diamondite plastic cleaner to remove the remaining residue. Too much pressure on that remaining residue may cause additional swirls. That's why I use the diamondite.

It's easy to make a bad panel much better. It's difficult to make a nice panel perfect. That is, if you're working with the lenses in place with limited room to work.

Dressing. It will not remove them but you will be shocked how much of that white noise goes away by just moisturizing the plastic.

I use Meg's PlastX. Only go over small actions at a time. I use enough to keep it clear for 3 minutes of polish, then wipe clean and repeat until I get the results I want.

If I can still see fine scratches, in bright sunlight for example, I use Meg's Plastic Cleaner #17 & Clear Plastic Polish #10. But this really takes a lot of time and patience.

I have best results if I can remove the trim to open up the entire cluster.
