Reapplying Sonax PNS

If one is using Sonax PNS as a coating topper, and it lasts 6 months, if one wanted to add another coat, is it as easy as just doing another coat? Or would the PNS need to be removed somehow? And how to do that without a polish, to avoid removing the coating?
