I have some older LC 5.5" foam pads that the backing is semi-detached from. Any way to reattach?

Thanks,

Jim

This is total speculation so please don't give it much weight. Last week I had the foam come apart from the velcro and it sent the pad rolling down the driveway like a wheel so I had the same question as you. I ended up tossing it.
Here's what I was thinking had I not tossed it. We glue pieces of craft foam together for fly tying with a spray glue called "Super 77". It wont even think about coming apart. I was thinking that it would work, but was concerned about how careful you'd have to be so a spot of dried glue would not hit your paint. Probably best to toss.

OK, that got me to thinking: I have some 3M spray trim adhesive in the garage. Might work! 3M makes the Super 77, but it's $20! The stuff below is cheaper.

Amazon.com: 3M Spray Trim Adhesive (24 oz.): Automotive
