I see that one of the sponges I use to wash, and another that I use to take off bugs and grease from the wheels, are about to kick the bucket. I can only imagine that Dollar Tree will have a nice supply of each type. I forget where I've bought these in the past.
Have any of you gotten a very long life out of particular brands that you've used? Or do you feel that a sponge is a sponge?
Reason why I'm asking, is that a year or so ago I bought a Meguiar's waffle water magnet towel, and after 2-3 uses, I noticed a definite drop in the amount of work that it did (I still use it as the first towel, to take off the big drops, but now I go over the surface later, with a microfiber towel to get the small drops that the waffle towel misses). I'm ok with paying 10 bucks for a sponge, but I'd like to be sure that it will last.
