What is recommended for cleaning and care of Mercedes imitation leather - MB TEX?

Thanks for any comment/advice/suggestion.

That type of leather is a synthetic "breathable" leather therefore I would use leather masters or leatherique products to clean and condition the seats every couple of weeks

MB Tex is the Mercedes name for vinyl. It has been used by Mercedes for years. It was in my 1975 300D and I loved it. Very easy to clean with vinyl cleaner. If I had a Mercedes today it would have MB Tex and I would use diluted APC to clean. When in doubt, always refer to the owner's manual which will have very good instructions for cleaning MB Tex.

When we were shopping a ways back for a C300, we were told by 3 different dealers that it was a vinyl material.

I Have a 2012 ML350 and ordered MBTex because of all the good things I heard about it. It looks like leather but never sags or wears like leather. All I have done for maintenance is used a sponge with water and dry with a terry cloth towel. Sometimes I notice blue jean stain (my seats are tan) and Griot's Interior Cleaner or any other APC type product sprayed on a sponge is all you need to take care of it. Just do a once a month light maintenance with water and unlike even the finest leather, this stuff will look brand new in ten years.

I have it in my 2014 C250 and it's really easy to maintain whether it's the black interior on my old car or my new light grey interior. I simply use Meguiar's APC at 10:1 ratio then some Meguiar's Natural shine and I get a fresh factory look again. Overall it's really really easy to maintain.

I just used Ultima Interior Shampoo on a neighbor's and it worked fantastically. There is a lot of opinion on whether you need to use leather conditioner since it isn't leather and is coated, so I just went ahead and didn't do anything since she just asked to get a stain out really quick. The Ultima is a great product though and I would have followed up with UIGP, most likely.

Here's a review on UIGP+:
