I have a 2003 Avalanche and I have used Refinish Restorer to treat the plastic for about 5 years. (Can't understand why this site won't carry it) Lately it doesn't bring backthe black as well on some parts. I used Splution Finish yesterday and like the results. After it dries, I was going to put Refinish Restorer on top to increase the life. Has anyone tried this?

I would think that the amount of
solvent that's in Refinish Restorer
(between 25-50%) would wind up
being ruinous to Solution Finish.

Never heard of it?

I haven't personally but a number of members on this forum say this is what they don and they have good luck with this two-step approach.

I'm a fan of Solution Finish and I'd suggest trying this out for a dressing over the Solution Finish.

CarPro PERL Coat Plastic & Rubber Protectant 500 ml
PERL Coat Plastic & Rubber Protectant, vinyl and rubber dressing, interior protectant

Good stuff.

Maybe ultimate trim guard would be a better solution than a greasy silicone that will just wash away.
