Hi all,
A couple weeks ago I did my whole car in BFCS.
Last week I took some water spots out of the hood and reapplied BFCS to the hood after.

Now I love trying other products and the weekend after this I want to try Menzerna PL and see if I get better results.
Bright white paint, I wont be using any wax.
(im hoping to find the best results to prepare for the winter)

Will it matter if I top the BFCS with another sealant?
Will the PL still bond properly?

I will use a mild clay before the PL.
Not sure if it will remove the BFCS or not, so my concern is if it doesnt, will it matter?

If you want to try something new...great

I suggest that you pick a few panels, maybe the hood and front fenders and coat them with Powerlock

The only way to be sure the previous coating is removed is a light polish. A few quick passes with a light polish like Wolfgang Finishing Glaze or Menzerna SF4000, will do it

With most sealants a "surgically clean" surface is not required, so you are good to apply PL immediately after polishing

That way you can more objectively test the looks an durability vs BFCS
