I am doing a complete detail of my new to me 1995 Chevrolet Corvette Pace Car Festival car #118. The paint has been neglected by previous owners. I have polished this car down with 105-205-4500. Before I seal and wax I would like to remove a lot of the old wax in hard to get areas. See attached problem areas, body seam where bumper attaches, door jam, under mirror, and buildup next to vinyl decals.

Any help would be appreciated,

Ahh, the dreaded left over wax areas. For that I use Q-tips!! Make sure you get the Q-tips as they are thick cotton tips. Follow along the lines of the decals or in between the fenders and it does wonders!! It's also really cheap to get Q-tips. I have them in my arsenal. IMO, you do not need an IPA as the Q-tips will remove it effectively. If you want to put an IPA on the Q-tip that will help remove the excess build-up too.

Let me know if you like the Q-tip method!!....:props:

I use q-tip and some wax and silicone remover.

Glasurit 541-5 is my choice..

I put my fingernail in a microfiber towel and use that to get the wax out of creases etc. Sometime reapplying a wax in that area will soften or loosen the old wax allowing for easy removal ... I would use something that didn't dry into that white concrete though.
