Overspray of white lithium grease is all over the door jamb and various places. I want to remove it but so far P21s, purple power, and dawn all don't work.

Ideas?

Yikes. Maybe some type of tar or adhesive remover. 3M makes a good one. Stoner's has a product, too. Maybe try plain old alcohol first.

Surf City Garage's Road Trip.
The stuff will make tar come off like soap, so I would imagine it would break down the grease pretty well too.

My local Pep Boys carries the line.

That's some thick stuff. I use it on my Flex. Stoner's Tarminator would work.

:iagree:first product that I thought after you said the stuff that you tried didn't work.

3M Wax and Adhesive Remover ... can get it locally as needed. Comes in spray or canister version as needed too.

Just a question, was this used to grease the window tracks? Coz I'm looking to grease my window tracks and I was going to use White Lithium Grease.

If it's that hard to remove any overspray I'll have to make sure I'm extra careful to avoid any overspray.

I was used on my door hinges (not by me). I have used it before though and it tends to splatter everywhere, not clean or easy to use in the spray can.

I'll try the 3m stuff (which I happen to have). Thank you.
