Well the subject line kind of says it all.

This weekend while I was cleaning up the car I managed to get some Meguiars Gold Class Trim Detailer on the paint.

I tried to clean it off with a bit of ONR and thought it had cleaned off. But when I came out this morning the 'stain' has reappeared.

Is their any product I can use to get this off?

Thank you

Use Meguiars glass cleaner or Meguiars APC. Both are safe to use if you do not let the product dry .
Use a microfiber for removal.

I'll try that. I've got some APC+ headed my way thanks to the 20% off weekend special.

Hmm, I have not had a problem removing over-spray via a MF towel. I would say APC will take care of it, just dont forget to wax the area over again as the APC will take it off.

Usually wiping with a microfiber will remove most if not all of it.

Stains are either topical or embedded, if topical then they should wipe-off with some type of cleaner, if they've penetrated into the coating then try a compound, paint cleaner or swirl mark remover.

:)

Thank you for the information Mike.

They should only be topical at this point, I had just finished putting a coat of wax on the vehicle so it shouldn't have penetrated into the paint.

Got my 'big' order in this week, thanks to the 20% off, part of the order included a 1 gallon jub of Meg's APC+.

I diluted down a 32oz spray bottle 10:1 and headed out to the car. Sprayed the mixture onto a clean MF and went at it.

Below are some before and after pictures. We'll now 'officially' see if it topical or actually embedded into the paint.

Unfortunately I don't have any after glass, but it did look clean.

Not all this was caused by the splatter I talked about in the first post, I think a lot of this might be run off after in rains. I don't think I'm using to much product but I'll keep an eye on my usage.

Just use a decent quick detailer and it should wipe away. I would try that first since it should do the trick!
