Will be working on a 29,000 mile 1964 Olds Super 88. I haven't seen it yet.

Chrome is perfect, car sat and rarely used. If I recall---car is in great shape. I'll be doing the Megs #7 and seal with megs #26 yellow wax.

Interior is in great shape, just a clean up. Owner was wondering if I can get the old car smell out. Told him I wasn't sure if I can...but happy to give it a shot.

What would you guys do to get the smell out?

I was thinking of pulling seats out letting them outside to "air out", vac interior, open windows, lightly spray on/wipe off using interior cleaner, etc...

Doable?

Just spray a whole bottle of CG stripper scent inside the thing and close it up for awhile.

If that fails then steam cleaning all of the upholstery and panels would probably be a good first step.

What a coincidence. You should go to the store and check out the whats new section. Meguiars just came out with a product that does exactly what you want
